The Bantak House is an owner-operated oasis, offering guests a unique
vacation experience in the clean, quiet hamlet of Bantak, about a five
hour comfortable drive north of Bangkok.
Offering a total of five air-conditioned bedrooms and four bathrooms,
this modernized and fully serviced teak house has been re-built as a labour of love by its owners to provide a refuge for those seeking a
break from the pressures and stresses of urban life.

The house is built on two floors, with the lower level consisting of a
living room area, a dining room, the kitchen, three guest rooms, bathrooms
and toilet, and a covered lower patio where you
walk out to the back yard and the river.
The upper level consists of a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a TV
room with international programming, and a huge deck which is partly
covered. It is from this vantage point that the day's activities
dissolve into quiet, tranquil evenings over an outdoor dining table,
great food, and good company. Another wing with a bedroom with en-suite
bathroom, has recently been added. This section has its own discrete balcony
which offers a spectacular view over the wide Ping river.
